Cat Sorting Worksheet for National Cat Day

October 23 is National Cat Day. This Monday I have an activity students can sort various images of animals that are and are not cats.

The printable version of this activity includes the option to use real photos or picture symbols. Of course, for even more practice, students can do both sets of images.

I have included a color and black and white version. For students who need more support, you can easily add some color coding shown in the digital version to assist your students.

Visit my blog post on color-coding worksheets to learn more about this quick and effective technique.

The goal is to have one worksheet that all the students in your class can do with some simple modifications.

I also include a link to a digital version as well in case you are teaching remotely or want to set up an independent work center in your classroom. This digital version does have the color-coded option provided for differentiation.

I hope that you will grab this free worksheet by clicking the button below the video.
