This unit has print and digital activities to accompany Peter Brown’s book, The Wild Robot.

The materials were designed to allow students at multiple levels of learning to access and engage with lessons learned from listening to this novel.

There are many opportunities for students to engage with repeated information as they get to follow Roz, a robot who ends up stranded on an island and learns to survive in the wild. This repetition encourages deeper engagement with the book.

Finally, many of the activities include multiple versions, suggestions for differentiation, and presentation options. There are 1 or more activities (36 activities!!) to go with every 5 chapters as your students stay engaged while you read this novel aloud.

There are 2 complete files to go with this unit. One is in color, and one is in BW.

This unit now has 5 multiple-choice comprehension questions for every 5 chapters. Many of these chapters are super short!! Each question has 3 picture answer choices. An answer key is included.
