The Crucible by Arthur Miller is a novel study, which includes activities and chapter questions designed for students with special education needs.

The Crucible novel study has 150 pages and is designed for students in special education.

I was always reading a novel to my students, regardless of their learning level. The lesson of learning to sit while someone is talking is an invaluable skill that is worthwhile teaching.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS NOVEL UNIT IS FOR STUDENTS WITH SIGNIFICANT DISABILITIES AND ARE EITHER EMERGING OR NON-READERS AND DOES NOT INCLUDE THE NOVEL OR AN ADAPTED VERSION.

This novel study includes various activities that accompany Miller’s play, The Crucible.

The materials were designed to allow students with multiple levels of learning to access and engage with lessons learned through listening to this novel.

Students have numerous opportunities to engage with repeated information as they listen to a very difficult time in U.S. History.

Finally, many of the activities include more than one version, suggestions for differentiation, and options for presentation. There are five activities (20 different activities!!) to go with each Act, as your students stay engaged while you read this novel aloud.

There are 2 complete files to go with this unit. One is in color and one is in BW.

There are 15 multiple-choice questions for every Act. Each question has 3 picture answer choices. An answer key is included.

Becuase you may be using an adpated version, there is also a set of 15 general questions that should apply to any adapted version you may be using.
