Shark Attack! by Gail Tuchman is a differentiated Scholastic Book study for students with autism and special learning needs, especially during Shark Week.

I always read a novel to my students, regardless of their learning level. Learning to sit while someone is talking is an invaluable skill worth teaching.

The materials were designed to enable students at multiple learning levels to access and engage with the lessons learned from this novel.

Finally, many of the activities include multiple versions, suggestions for differentiation, and options for presentation. There are 10 activities (1-3 for each chapter) to keep students engaged while reading this novel aloud.

There are also 20 vocabulary cards and 10 different ways to use them.

There are 2 complete files to accompany this unit. One is in color, and one is in black and white.

There are multiple-choice questions for every chapter. Each question has 3 picture answer choices. An answer key is included.
