Frankenstein Novel Study for Special Education Frankenstein Chapter Questions

This unit has various activities accompanying Shelley’s book Frankenstein.

The materials were designed to allow students with multiple levels of learning to access and engage in lessons learned through listening to this novel.

Finally, many of the activities include more than one version, suggestions for differentiation, and options for presentation. There are 28 activities to keep students engaged while reading this novel aloud.

There are 2 complete files to accompany this unit. One is in color, and one is in black and white.

This unit has 5 multiple choice comprehension questions for every chapter. Each question has 3 picture answer choices. An answer key is included.

This novel unit was put together using the Young Collector’s Illustrated Classics edition of the book. The ISBN is 1-56156-309-9. My copy had 14 chapters. I realize you may use a different adapted version. Here is what you can do.

• This novel study includes 28 activities. You should have no problem finding an activity that aligns with the chapter you have read aloud from your version. Remember, the activities are not comprehension-based but are more extensions of something that happened or was mentioned in that chapter. Therefore, they will work with other versions of the book.

• The comprehension questions ARE related to each chapter and may not correspond to the version you are using. I keep the questions very basic and related to specific things in that chapter.
