This unit has 27 activities to accompany the novel Coach by Jason Reynolds.

The activities were designed to allow students at multiple learning levels to access and engage with lessons learned by listening to this novel read aloud. There are many opportunities for students to engage with repeated information in the story. This repetition encourages deeper engagement in the book.

Finally, many of the activities in this novel study include multiple versions, differentiation suggestions, and presentation options. There is one or more activities for every chapter (27 different activities!!) to go with this book to keep your students engaged while you read the novel aloud.
