Christmas in Camelot is book 29 in Mary Pope Osborne’s Magic Tree House series, and this novel study was created for students with autism and special learning needs.

This 90 page unit on the novel Christmas in Camelot is designed for students with special learning needs. I was always reading a novel to my students, regardless of their learning level. Learning to sit while someone is talking is an invaluable skill worth teaching.

This unit includes various activities to accompany the Magic Tree House book, Christmas in Camelot.

The materials were designed to allow students at multiple learning levels to access and engage with lessons learned from listening to this novel. There are many opportunities for students to encounter repeated information as Jack and Annie travel to the Amazon River in search of another clue to save Morgan.

This repetition encourages deeper engagement with the book. Finally, many of the activities include multiple versions, suggestions for differentiation, and options for presentation.

Each chapter includes one activity (17 total activities) to keep your students engaged while you read this novel aloud.
