Printable Monthly Calendars 2026 2027 Calendar Holidays 2026 2027 Google Slides

These printable and digital monthly calendars were specifically designed for students with special learning needs, especially those with autism, and are perfect for back-to-school.

There are 3 differentiated calendars for each month.

  1. Spell the month and locate holidays using a key.
  2. Spell the month and match the holiday symbols on the calendar.
  3. Match the letters of the month and the holiday symbols on the calendar.

These calendars are for the 2026-2027 school year. They start with August.

Each month contains the main federal/national US holidays.

There are also icons for special days.

  • Birthdays
  • Special Days
  • Full Moons

All calendars will be updated each July. You can download these new versions from your purchases.

****There are also digital versions in the form of Google Slides. The same 3 differentiated versions are included.

Much of what I have learned about curriculum development is incorporated into these units. For example, do not be afraid of repetition. It is critical that students with significant disabilities experience material over several days to fully assimilate what is being taught. Also, adding visual supports to your printables and class activities helps students focus more on the content you present rather than on the mechanics of what is expected. Finally, ask questions. Good questions!! Regardless of the material, we can ask students questions that will push them to think more deeply than before.
