Reindeer Habitat
This free worksheet is a great addition to your December activities that is not too Christmasy. It is also a great choice for older students.
First, students will read or listen to a passage about where reindeer naturally live. They will even learn if reindeer actually have red noses!! (Spoiler alert…. some do.)
Students will color in a world map showing locations where reindeer live. There are 2 options:
- Easier: The locations are labeled and outlined in red.
- Harder: The locations are labeled but not outlined.
Of course, it comes in color and black and white. There is also a link to the digital version which includes the ability to play a recording of the passage so students do not have to read it on their own. Students will drag shaded areas over to cover the correct locations on the map.
