Back to School: Free digital lesson planning templates for 2024-2025

How do you like to plan? Digitally or with pen and paper?

As parents and teachers, we want to make our best plans. We each have our preferred style and format. In an earlier post, I shared how I prefer to plan on paper rather than use a calendar or spreadsheet online. I had a free template you could download, as well as a calendar I used to plan a year’s worth of social skills lessons. This week, I want to share a lesson planning template that is an online option that I am just learning how to use myself, Airtable. I only have the free version for now, so it limits my ability somewhat to play with different colors and fill options. But the functionality is great, and I know many of you prefer to work online, so I am sharing the template I developed with you to give you a starting point. You can tweak and make this planning calendar your own from this base.

This short video will give you a good idea of how the Airtable lesson planning template looks and functions. You can do a lot in Airtable, especially if you upgrade to the paid version, but I find this free version very helpful.
