Friction Unit for Special Education (expanded)

Friction can be a difficult concept for all students with autism and special learning needs to visualize and understand. This science unit is meant to introduce the concept of friction through a simple factual story and activities. The story helps build some basic knowledge of friction, and the follow-up activities allow for increased engagement and hands-on practice. All the materials were developed for students with autism and special learning needs.

It is meant to be for students in elementary and possibly middle school.
